Erie bayfront hotel stay on Presque Isle Bay, reserved in writing
From, for two$4202 nights, two sharing · $210 eachNot included: state and local lodging taxes.
Erie sits on Presque Isle Bay, a stretch of calm water tucked behind a long, curved sand peninsula that shelters it from Lake Erie. This Erie bayfront hotel stay puts you in town on the bay for two nights, with the peninsula's lake beaches a short drive away.
Our office plans this one from June to August. We find a bayfront hotel with its own front desk, ask whether a room is open for your two nights, and write you a single quote to read at your own pace. You pay us nothing for that work, and the seven steps stay the same every time.

Peninsula sand facing almost due north
The sand beaches lie on the lake side of the peninsula, a short drive from the hotel on the bay. Our office measured their shoreline at 8 degrees, which is north, so standing at the edge of the water you look straight out over open Lake Erie.
On July 15 the sun comes up at 59 degrees, over the water and 51 degrees to your right. It goes down at 301 degrees, also over the water, 67 degrees to your left. In midsummer both ends of the day sit over the lake, the morning a little more squarely in front of you.

Bayfront hotel, peninsula beaches nearby
The lodging for this stay is a hotel on the Erie bayfront that runs its own front desk. You register there, pay there, and speak with its staff about anything to do with the room.
Our office keeps the hotel's name off this website. The written quote names it, along with the room the hotel has offered for your nights, so you can look it up before you reply.
Nightly parking counted into the total
From $420 for two, or $210 per person, for 2 nights. That figure covers the room for two at the office's working June rate, plus a parking allowance of up to $16 a night, which the quote confirms. State and local lodging taxes come on top, as do fuel, meals and anything optional. The quote replaces our working number with the hotel's rate for your dates, which can land higher or lower.
Carried in the two-person figure
- 2 nights in a room for two at the office's working rate for that month
- Any resort or amenity fee the hotel charges every night
- The written quote and the request to hold the room
- A parking allowance of up to $16 a night, which the quote confirms
Settled apart from it
- State and local lodging tax, added by the hotel
- Fuel and tolls on the drive
- Meals and anything you buy on the trip

Summer window from June to August
We plan this stay for June, July and August, the months when the peninsula's lake beaches are the reason to make the trip. Our June number is an office estimate, set between rates we found for this hotel on travel sites for spring and late summer, and two nights fit a weekend away from Akron with a full day on the sand in between.
One total with parking inside
For your exact dates, the quote names the hotel, the room and the two nights, and gives one total with the parking already inside. It lists the taxes the hotel will add and sets out the hotel's own cancellation terms, so nothing about the stay rests on our working figure.
Nothing is held until you reply yes in writing. After that, we ask the hotel to hold the room in your name. The hotel may ask you directly for a card to secure it, and that stays between you and the hotel, never through this site.
Two and a half hours to the bay
From our office on Grant Street in Akron, the drive to Erie is 125 miles, about 2 hr 31 min without traffic. That time comes from an open mapping engine (OSRM), and real drives take longer, so allow for stops and summer traffic on the way north.
Send us your Erie weekend dates
The request form takes your dates at any hour and costs nothing. We read it, ask the hotel about a room for your two nights, and write back with one quote for you to weigh.
